A SEM study on fitness of dental implant fixture ＆ abutments manufactured in Korea

Abstract
|
|
|
Fitness of commercially available dental implant fixture and abutments manufactured
in Korea were compared to imported dental implant system.
Three different abutments were connected to dental implant fixture and measurement
between two parts was performed using scanning electron microscopic manufactured in
Korea had good fitness compared to imported dental implant system. There was no
statistically significant difference between two dental implant system in terams of
mechanical fitness.
On the basis of the totality of the data from these experiments it can bo concluded
dental implant and abutments manufactured in Korea have their potential to warrant
further clinical investigation as a new dental implant system.
